“Harlem” has been renewed for a second season on Amazon Prime Video. Harlem follows a group of four best friends: Angie (Shoniqua Shandai), Tye (Jerrie Johnson), Quinn (Grace Byers), and Camille (Meagan Good), who live in Harlem, New York. Throughout the first season, viewers see each woman pursue her various career goals and support each other through the next phases of her life.
When season 1 ended, Camille found out that her ex Ian still had feelings for her and had left her job. Angie, who was part of a production called Get Out: The Musical, also lost her job, as the musical was not legally approved. Meanwhile, Tye had a major health problem and had to confront her husband, who eventually started a battle over Tye's company and money. Finally, Quinn and Isabela kissed and Isabela accepted Quinn's offer to go on a date.

The comedy series follows four best friends living in Harlem, New York. Camille (Meagan Good) is a popular young anthropology professor at Columbia University struggling to navigate her love life; Tye (Jerrie Johnson) is a successful queer dating app creator who prefers to keep romance at a distance; Quinn (Grace Byers) is a hopeless, trust-fund romantic fashion designer trying to give back while she runs a struggling business; and Angie (Shoniqua Shandai) is a self-confident singer-actress who lives rent-free with Quinn. They spend 20 years together as they enter the next phase of their careers, relationships, and big-city dreams. Tyler Lepley also plays Ian, Camille's love interest.
“Girls Trip” co-writer Tracy Oliver serves as creator, writer and executive producer. Amazon Studios and Universal Television produce in association with Paper Kite Productions. Executive producers also include Amy Poehler and Kim Lessing for Paper Kite, Dave Becky for 3 Arts Entertainment, Britt Matt, Pharrell Williams and Mimi Valdes for I Am Other.
