It's time for She-Hulk: Lawyer, and like everyone's original favorite green superhero, "you wouldn't like her when she's mad." Or maybe it does, because that means some entertaining fight sequences are sure to take place. Either way, the new Marvel series is ready to add some more enjoyable moments to your summer between trips to the beach, family vacations, and cookouts.
Since most of the main Avengers group seem to be passing the baton to new characters, it was only a matter of time before the Hulk got his turn with his own protégé. Hawkeye found an apprentice in Kate Bishop, Black Widow has Yelena Belova set to replace her, Steve Rogers literally gave his shield to Sam Wilson aka the new Captain America, and later this year The Might Thor is set to wield Mjölnir. in Thor: Love and Thunder.

Now it's time for the big guy to help her cousin Jennifer Walters take on her role as Marvel's new heroine. Here's everything we know about the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law series. "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single 30-something lawyer who also happens to be a 6-foot-7-inch green super-powered hulk. The nine-episode series welcomes to a host of MCU veterans, including Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong."
For those who aren't that familiar with the She-Hulk character from the Marvel comics, here's a quick rundown of who she is. Keep in mind that the character's comic book origin story may end up being different than what plays out on screen.
As mentioned above, Jennifer Walters is Bruce Banner's cousin. When she was shot and needed a blood transfusion, he came forward as a donor. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, after the procedure she acquired some of Banner's gamma cells. Those gamma cells would eventually give her the ability to "break down" like her famous relative.
In the second trailer, we first see Bruce Banner/Hulk helping Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) live as the Hulk on a remote island somewhere. She seems pretty good at it, so the training stops and she returns to her life as a lawyer, except she's been recruited to defend superpowered people, like Abomination (Tim Roth), who you might remember from The Incredible Hulk when Edward Norton played the Hulk. There's also some potential fourth-wall breaking action, as the series is intended as an MCU comedy.
Also, it's worth noting that She-Hulk is a hero who has fought with the Avengers, the Defenders, and the Fantastic Four. It will be interesting to see if his character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be a linchpin for a future Avengers movie, the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot, or perhaps pave the way for a remake of The Defenders series, now that Disney has the rights. for previous Netflix shows.
