Saipan 2026. A film loosely based on the conflict between the Republic of Ireland coach, Mike McCarthy (Steve Coogan), and his star player, Roy Keane (Eanna Hardwicke), and Keane's subsequent departure from the Irish squad for the World Cup. To begin with, Hardwicke doesn't resemble Keane at all—she's much taller—but she does capture his arrogance. Coogan isn't an exact copy either, but she does capture his seemingly chaotic approach to player management. Directors: Lisa Barros D'Sa, Glenn Leyburn Writer:: Paul Fraser Stars: Éanna Hardwicke, Steve Coogan, Peter McDonald What I felt while watching the film was the disastrous state of Irish planning. That was the problem: Keane, of Manchester United fame, expected more. I watched The Damned United last week, which deals with the rivalry between Brian Clough and Don Revie. It's tense, funny, and genuinely interesting, but this isn't. It's okay, and it plays on Irish stereotypes. The best part for me was hea...

Waiting for Bojangles 2022 Movie Review Cast Crew Online

Blue Fox Entertainment has purchased the US rights to StudioCanal's Waiting for Bojangles, the critically acclaimed French-language romance film directed by Régis Roinsard, starring Romain Duris, Virginie Efira and Grégory Gadebois. It's not often that a French film comes across as moving as the romantic drama En Attendant Bojangles (2022), or “Waiting For Bojangles” in English, directed by Régis Roinsard. As a longtime fan of French movies and 1960s culture, I couldn't wait to see this movie.

This movie was an adaptation of the best-selling French novel of the same name, written by first author Olivier Bourdeaut and released in 2016. The book was an instant hit with French people, and I've seen it recommended multiple times since moving to France. in 2019.

During my Christmas break last December, I finally got a chance to read the book and quickly understood why so many people fell in love with the leads.

Director: Régis Roinsard
Writers: Olivier Bourdeaut, Romain Compingt, Régis Roinsard
Stars: Romain Duris, Virginie Efira, Grégory Gadebois

The film opened in France in January and has grossed $4.4 million to date. A StudioCanal, Curiosa Films and JPG Films production, the film was produced by Olivier Delbosc and Jean-Pierre Guérin. Blue Fox Entertainment will bring the film to the US and Canada in late summer via a limited/platform release.

In Waiting for Bojangles, a young man, Gary, lives with his eccentric parents and an exotic bird in a Parisian apartment. Every night, Gary's parents, Camille and Georges, lovingly dance to his favorite song, “Mr. Bojangles. At home there is only room for fun, fantasy and friends. But as her fascinating and unpredictable mother descends deeper into her mind, she depends on Gary and her father, Georges, to keep her safe.

"Director Regis Roinsard has created a visually stunning world with beautiful characters led by Virginie Efira and Romain Duris who remind us why we love French cinema," said Blue Fox's James Huntsman.

“After the incredible success of The Wolf and the Lion, we are delighted to build on our collaboration and partnership with Blue Fox with Waiting For Bojangles,” added StudioCanal International Sales Director Chloé Marquet, who brokered the deal with Huntsman. "After the incredible reception in France, we can't wait for American audiences to discover this timeless, unique and exceptional love story on the big screen."
