2026 is a monumental year for *Zillennials* everywhere—well, at least if you’re a Disney fan. If you haven’t realized it yet, it’s not just the anniversary of *Hannah Montana*, but also the anniversary of *High School Musical*! And all in the same year? Twenty years later, the nostalgia hits you like a brick the instant Miley Cyrus steps onto the scene with her blonde bangs and that shiny gold belt. Although Miley herself looks mature and elegant now, her Tennessee personality shines through instantly the moment she sets foot on the set—the very home of the Stewarts! But, almost immediately, you feel that something is missing.  That’s because most of the show’s main cast doesn’t appear in this anniversary special. My Best Friend's Exorcism 2022 Movie Review Trailer Cast Crew

In the 1988-set horror comedy The Exorcism of My Best Friend, Elsie Fisher and Amiah Miller play high school friends Abby and Gretchen, respectively, whose relationship is tested by supernatural forces.


"The movie centers on Abby and Gretchen, who are best friends, and one night at a friend's parents' cabin, they go for a walk, end up in a strange building in the woods," says director Damon Thomas, whose film is based on the 2016 novel by Grady Hendrix. "Something bad happens, and from that moment on, Gretchen starts acting weird."

Abby becomes aware of the possibility that supernatural forces may be at work for an evangelical Christian fighter played by Christopher Lowell.

"He says, 'Your friend is possessed,' and he goes from there," says Thomas. "But he does have a certain parallel to every teenager's journey through school, because that's also just as unsettling as being possessed. So there are those parallel themes that run through the movie."

The director reveals that casting the two leads for the film shot in Atlanta was, on the one hand, devilishly easy and, on the other, tremendously difficult.

"Elsie Fisher was in a big movie called Eighth Grade and she was very much on our minds from the beginning," says Thomas. "She's a very naturalistic actress, she feels very real, and she's the anchor point of the movie in that it's the audience's point of view. I watched many, many, many auditions for Gretchen because you need to have someone who is the natural leader. she of the pack, but she can also 'go there' during possession and really hit those genre beats. I thought Amiah was brilliant. And she was scary on a Zoom!


The Exorcism of My Best Friend, written by Jenna Lamia, also stars Cathy Ang and Rachel Ogechi Kanu. It will be available to watch on Prime Video starting September 30.

Moonrise 2024 Tv Series Review Trailer Cast Crew

 Netflix has released a trailer for the new sci-fi anime, Moonrise, which shows the main character Jack in action against creatures that serve as antagonists in the Earth vs. Moon conflict. Although no firm release date has been provided for the anime series yet, Moonrise will stream on Netflix sometime in 2024. Announced on Netflix Tudum 2022, Moonrise is written by novelist Tou Ubukata, best known for his excellent work on Ghost in the Shell, Psycho-Pass 2, and Psycho-Pass 3. Beloved artist Hiromu Akawara, who previously worked on the hit series from the Fullmetal Alchemist manga, will also join the show as a character designer. Ubukata wrote and published a prologue novel in December 2018. Netflix describes Moonrise as "a fateful tale of resistance forces on the moon challenging the peaceful inhabitants of Earth to battle." Vinland Saga Season 2 Review Trailer Cast Crew

Vinland Saga is set to debut on Netflix and Crunchy Roll early in the new year. In order to get fans excited for the return of their favorite Viking epic anime, an official trailer featuring the ending song has been posted on their website. The trailer is set to LMYK's song “Without Love” and features a brief description that simply reads, “Against Fate: Crawl Cause and Effect. This is no doubt referring to Thorfinn's situation from season 1, as his actions in leaving home and what he did the entire time he was gone will surely have consequences. Vinland Saga Season 2 will stream every Monday at 12:30 p.m. JPT, starting January 9, 2023, with a simulcast on Crunchyroll and Netflix a bit later in the day for the US run.
