All's Fair 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer

This review contains plot details from the first three episodes of “All’s Fair,” which are now available on Hulu. Creators: Jon Robin Baitz, Joe Baken, Ryan Murphy Stars: Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash The fact that a legal drama supposedly about female empowerment begins with a pilot episode written and directed by men probably tells you everything you need to know about “All’s Fair.” In fact, of the three episodes currently available on Hulu to commemorate the series premiere, only one features a significant creative credit from a woman, and it’s shared between executive producer Jamie Pachino and co-creator Ryan Murphy, who collaborated on the script for Episode 2.  But this is a review, so I’m obligated to elaborate: “All’s Fair” is a clumsy, condescending take on superficial, triumphalist feminism, undercooked even by the standards of the overworked Murphy, who co-created the series with Joe Baken and Jon Robin Baitz. Blockbuster 2022 Tv Series Review Trailer Cast Crew

Netflix's sitcom "Blockbuster" is just salt in the wound for the old tale that streaming killed the video store star.

Randall Park leads the series as Timmy Yoon, an "analog dreamer living in a 5G world" according to an official description, where he operates the last remaining Blockbuster Video store in the country. According to the official synopsis, Timmy and the employees of his staff, including his longtime crush Eliza, must fight to stay relevant. The only way to be successful is to remind your community that they provide something big corporations can't: human connection.

Creator: Vanessa Ramos
Stars: Melissa Fumero, Madeleine Arthur, Randall Park

The series also stars Tyler Alvarez, Madeleine Arthur, Olga Merediz, JB Smoove, and Kamaia Fairburn. “Blockbuster” premieres November 3 on Netflix.

“Superstore” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” producer Vanessa Ramos created the series with David Caspe and Jackie Clarke serving as writers and executive producers. John Davis and John Fox are also executive producers for Davis Entertainment. “Blockbuster” is produced by Universal Television, a division of the Universal Studio Group.

The last real Blockbuster store in the US remains in Bend, Oregon as of 2019. While the Netflix series doesn't take place in the actual location, lead star Park noted that the 10-episode season is firmly focused on in the four walls of the fictitious. be stored while the "company itself is beginning to collapse".

"Our little family that works in the store, together, we gained the strength and determination to keep it alive," Park told Entertainment Weekly, noting that while leading AAPI ABC's "groundbreaking" series "Fresh Off the Boat," "Blockbuster" reflects a "diverse group of people" more akin to Park's life off-screen.

“I grew up in a very diverse neighborhood, it was almost like my group of friends were all races,” Park said. “It was almost too perfect, it was like a commercial. And the shows, I feel like they've always had a hard time capturing that reality. And I feel like 'Fresh off the Boat' is great, because it was groundbreaking to have an Asian-American family and that reflects a part of my life. But also a part of my life is this diverse group of people.”

Netflix head of comedy Tracey Pakosta called the series "ultimately the story of a dedicated group of coworkers, with a lot of heart."

“Blockbuster” premieres November 3 on Netflix.
