Creators: Jon Robin Baitz, Joe Baken, Ryan Murphy Stars: Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash The fact that a legal drama supposedly about female empowerment begins with a pilot episode written and directed by men probably tells you everything you need to know about “All’s Fair.” In fact, of the three episodes currently available on Hulu to commemorate the series premiere, only one features a significant creative credit from a woman, and it’s shared between executive producer Jamie Pachino and co-creator Ryan Murphy, who collaborated on the script for Episode 2.  But this is a review, so I’m obligated to elaborate: “All’s Fair” is a clumsy, condescending take on superficial, triumphalist feminism, undercooked even by the standards of the overworked Murphy, who co-created the series with Joe Baken and Jon Robin Baitz. Admittedly, the tone is intentionally campy, and i...

The trailer for Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight season 2 highlights Po's next epic adventure as he leaves China in an attempt to stop the evil weasels from achieving his plans. And finally, as the warrior team begins a long journey to England, Po tells a story explaining Chinese New Year customs and traditions to lift the crew's spirits in a Lunar New Year special.

The Kung Fu Panda franchise began in 2008, and the first film was nominated for an Oscar for Best Animated Feature. It featured the voices of Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, Dustin Hoffman, James Hong, and Seth Rogen. Due to its success, two more sequels followed in 2011 and 2016. Currently, the trilogy has a combined gross of more than $1.8 billion at the worldwide box office.

Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight Season 2 premieres on Netflix on January 12, 2023.
