Machos Alfa 2022 Tv Series Review Trailer Cast Crew

Alpha Males, also known as Machos Alfa, is a Spanish comedy directed by the duo Alberto Cabellero and Laura Cabellero. The directors, beloved for their film La Que Se Avecina, gave away an entire series, and the fans are happy! However, will the series be worth it?

Talking about the plot, Alpha Males is about four best friends fighting in the modern age where the patriarchy is crushing. The story revolves around how these four deal with the women around them and the society that picks on men for their problems. This show promises to show the world about fourth wave feminism. However, if it is going to be negative or positive, you can only tell when you look.

Creators: Alberto Caballero, Laura Caballero
Stars: María Hervás, Fele Martínez, Raúl Tejón

The main cast of the series includes Fernando Gil, María Hervas, Raúl Tejón, Nathalie Seseña, Kira Miró, Gorka Otxoa, Paula Gallego, Mar Saura, Fele Martínez, Raquel Guerrero and Virginia Rodríguez. The series is produced by Contubernio Films and is officially distributed by Netflix.

The series begins with the four men, Raúl, Luis, Pedro and Santi, sitting in a seminar on toxic masculinity. Between the four of them, three say out loud that they are macho, while one of the friends leaves. Surprisingly, he returns to that seminar in another episode, which he will watch.

When the series began, it was evident that these four men are definitely sexist, as they claim, and the truth is that they act accordingly. Surrounded by powerful and no-nonsense women, these four men, who are the best of friends, find it extremely difficult to follow women's lead. Pedro, who is replaced by a colleague, ends up thinking that his content creator girlfriend is stupid for influencing his followers, but in reality, she does everything she can to keep the finances running.

Luis does not realize that he has not been treating his wife with some sexual action but that he has been busy with himself. Raúl, who wants to propose to his girlfriend Luz de él, is terrified when she asks him for an open relationship. Unsurprisingly, Raúl, who has a sexual partner (married girl, to be precise), doesn't want Luz to be with other men while he happily enjoys time with her sexual partner, Mmmh.

Finally, our wonderful Santi, a divorcee, does everything possible to forget his ex-wife by going on Tinder dates; however, he leaves all the women he tries to shoot with. As her father, Santi works hard to keep her safe from the mores of the modern age. While this is an introductory look at the lives of the four guys, each episode shows many aspects of them and the women around them.

I liked how all of the women in this series felt genuine and relatable rather than made up. No one can deny that people make mistakes, and in this series they proved it well. While the four guys botch it terribly, the women also lose track at some points. However, the cause of that would be these four guys. The series didn't feel like it was trying to promote feminism. Rather, it showed how men and women need to understand each other's powers and let things work. Otherwise, both are going to be wrong.

Both Santi and Luis have children, and their arguments were crucial in the series. Santi, as a single father, thinks he knows how to be a father, but then he also realizes how it can make everything worse. While his relationship with his daughter seems healthy, it also seems like he's not serious about parenting the girl. On the other hand, Luis believes the same thing, but his young children are much more intelligent than him. He believes that he has them under his surveillance, but honestly, it's the other way around.

The comedy series did not feel forced but rather natural. The four boys and their different personalities made the series stand out. One was grumpy, one was too sweet, one was lazy, and one was too possessive. It was nice to see four guys who don't look alike come together well and go around causing chaos. Their troubled lives were hilarious to watch; that's what the directors intended to show, I guess.
