From *Cannibal Holocaust* to *Anaconda* and *The Green Inferno*, genre cinema has maintained a highly fraught relationship with the Amazon rainforest. While *Beware Boiúna*’s portrayal of the South American jungle and its indigenous peoples is not without stereotypes, this fast-paced creature feature directed by Mike P. Nelson surprises—both through its attunement to the rhythms of the environment and its complete lack of interest in condescendingly exorcising white guilt. After an opening sequence that sets the stage—showing Amazonian indigenous people confronting illegal gold miners—the film introduces us to the passengers of a boat drifting leisurely along the mighty Amazon: a humanitarian team led by Dr. Miguel (Juan Pablo Shuk) and accompanied by rookie doctors Alli (Jessica Rothe) and Callum (Will Close), who have traveled to the region to provide medical care to underserved populations. Bond of Justice: Kizuna 2023 Movie Review Trailer Cast Crew

It may have taken over seven years to materialize, but just as long has passed since we first saw teaser images for Ryuji Yamakita's new movie, now titled Bond Of Justice: Kizuna. I shared trailers for him that year, but didn't hear a word about his Kickstarter campaign in 2015, but now we have a new trailer making the rounds to hint at what's to come from Yamakita's indie label Iki Entertainment.



Yamakita has been working on another indie project recently titled Messenger, but I'm still not sure what that's turned out to be. In the meantime, it's worth noting the casting of this latest indie action fanfare with notable names like David "Bolo Jr." Yeung (no doubt related to celebrated action star Bolo Yeung), and the late Sonny Chiba, who filmed his scenes long before his untimely death last August.

Vinland Saga Season 2 Review Trailer Cast Crew

Vinland Saga is set to debut on Netflix and Crunchy Roll early in the new year. In order to get fans excited for the return of their favorite Viking epic anime, an official trailer featuring the ending song has been posted on their website. The trailer is set to LMYK's song “Without Love” and features a brief description that simply reads, “Against Fate: Crawl Cause and Effect. This is no doubt referring to Thorfinn's situation from season 1, as his actions in leaving home and what he did the entire time he was gone will surely have consequences. Vinland Saga Season 2 will stream every Monday at 12:30 p.m. JPT, starting January 9, 2023, with a simulcast on Crunchyroll and Netflix a bit later in the day for the US run. The anime's second year will have 24 episodes, which will likely be split into two 12-episodes. The Paramount series Marshals takes place a few years after the end of season five. Here, we see Kayce Dutton and his teenage son, Tate, living in East Camp after selling his family's Yellowstone Ranch to Broken Rock President Thomas Rainwater. Kayce and Beth, the only surviving children of John Dutton, didn't want the family legacy to fall into the wrong hands, so they decided to return the land to its rightful owners: the Native Americans.
