This review contains plot details from the first three episodes of “All’s Fair,” which are now available on Hulu. Creators: Jon Robin Baitz, Joe Baken, Ryan Murphy Stars: Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash The fact that a legal drama supposedly about female empowerment begins with a pilot episode written and directed by men probably tells you everything you need to know about “All’s Fair.” In fact, of the three episodes currently available on Hulu to commemorate the series premiere, only one features a significant creative credit from a woman, and it’s shared between executive producer Jamie Pachino and co-creator Ryan Murphy, who collaborated on the script for Episode 2.  But this is a review, so I’m obligated to elaborate: “All’s Fair” is a clumsy, condescending take on superficial, triumphalist feminism, undercooked even by the standards of the overworked Murphy, who co-created the series with Joe Baken and Jon Robin Baitz. Bond of Justice: Kizuna 2023 Movie Review Trailer Cast Crew

It may have taken over seven years to materialize, but just as long has passed since we first saw teaser images for Ryuji Yamakita's new movie, now titled Bond Of Justice: Kizuna. I shared trailers for him that year, but didn't hear a word about his Kickstarter campaign in 2015, but now we have a new trailer making the rounds to hint at what's to come from Yamakita's indie label Iki Entertainment.



Yamakita has been working on another indie project recently titled Messenger, but I'm still not sure what that's turned out to be. In the meantime, it's worth noting the casting of this latest indie action fanfare with notable names like David "Bolo Jr." Yeung (no doubt related to celebrated action star Bolo Yeung), and the late Sonny Chiba, who filmed his scenes long before his untimely death last August.

 Netflix has released a trailer for the new sci-fi anime, Moonrise, which shows the main character Jack in action against creatures that serve as antagonists in the Earth vs. Moon conflict. Although no firm release date has been provided for the anime series yet, Moonrise will stream on Netflix sometime in 2024. Announced on Netflix Tudum 2022, Moonrise is written by novelist Tou Ubukata, best known for his excellent work on Ghost in the Shell, Psycho-Pass 2, and Psycho-Pass 3. Beloved artist Hiromu Akawara, who previously worked on the hit series from the Fullmetal Alchemist manga, will also join the show as a character designer.  Netflix went all out to unveil its highly anticipated miniseries “The Leopard,” based on Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa’s classic novel set in Sicily, marking the platform’s biggest splash in Italy yet. On Tuesday, Netflix held a packed press conference in the frescoed ballroom of Rome’s centrally located Plaza Hotel, which was also used to film one of the series’ key scenes. “The Leopard” will formally premiere in Rome on March 3 with a gala screening held at the Eternal City’s Opera House before its global release on March 5. Stephen Lang is one of religious history’s most iconic prophets during one of its most turbulent periods in House of David. Lang, best known for his work on the Don’t Breathe and Avatar franchises, has explored the historical genre in the past, from the well-received Civil War epic Gettysburg and its prequel Gods and Generals to the political thriller The Gandhi Murder.
