This review contains plot details from the first three episodes of “All’s Fair,” which are now available on Hulu. Creators: Jon Robin Baitz, Joe Baken, Ryan Murphy Stars: Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash The fact that a legal drama supposedly about female empowerment begins with a pilot episode written and directed by men probably tells you everything you need to know about “All’s Fair.” In fact, of the three episodes currently available on Hulu to commemorate the series premiere, only one features a significant creative credit from a woman, and it’s shared between executive producer Jamie Pachino and co-creator Ryan Murphy, who collaborated on the script for Episode 2.  But this is a review, so I’m obligated to elaborate: “All’s Fair” is a clumsy, condescending take on superficial, triumphalist feminism, undercooked even by the standards of the overworked Murphy, who co-created the series with Joe Baken and Jon Robin Baitz. The Boogeyman 2023 Movie Review Trailer Cast Crew

 20th Century Studios has released the first trailer for "The Boogeyman," a new horror film that will have audiences confronting "what happens to your kids when you're not paying attention."


The studio unveiled a fraction of the trailer during Fox's broadcast of the NFC Championship Game between the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers. A full version was then published online on Sunday afternoon.

The film is an adaptation of Stephen King's 1978 short story of the same name, which had previously been made into a 2005 film. “Black Swan” screenwriter Mark Heyman and “A Quiet Place” writing duo Scott Beck and Bryan Woods have taken King's story into their own hands for the new film.


The horror thriller follows high school student Sadie Harper and her younger sister Sawyer as they mourn the recent death of her mother and face a strained relationship with her father. A surprise visit from a puzzling patient brings with it a supernatural being who takes advantage of people's suffering.


The Beck, Woods and Heyman adaptation is directed by “Host” director Rob Savage. Sophie Thatcher stars with Chris Messina. The cast also includes Vivien Lyra Blair, Marin Ireland, Madison Hu, LisaGay Hamilton, and David Dastmalchian.


Shawn Levy, Dan Levine and Dan Cohen produce "The Boogeyman." Executive producers include Beck, Wood, John H. Starke, Emily Morris, Adam Kolbrenner, Ryan Cunningham, and Robin Meisinger. Levy's production company, 21 Laps Entertainment, is co-producing with 20th Century Fox.


“The Boogeyman” will be released exclusively in theaters on June 2.

 Netflix has released a trailer for the new sci-fi anime, Moonrise, which shows the main character Jack in action against creatures that serve as antagonists in the Earth vs. Moon conflict.  Netflix went all out to unveil its highly anticipated miniseries “The Leopard,” based on Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa’s classic novel set in Sicily, marking the platform’s biggest splash in Italy yet.
