Four years have passed since *The Terminal List* burst onto Prime Video; ever since, fans have been patiently awaiting the return of James Reece, played by Chris Pratt. Last year’s prequel, *The Terminal List: Dark Wolf*, helped keep the audience engaged, but the main series has finally returned—and it’s packed with action. After seeing his life shattered by shadowy government forces, Reece—the sole survivor of an attack aimed at him—decided to take justice into his own hands to avenge his family and his unit. While the first season was an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Jack Carr—a former Navy SEAL turned author—the second season is based on its sequel, *True Believer*. It incorporates highly relevant geopolitical analysis and sets up future storylines, making this action thriller more vibrant and conspiracy-laden than ever before. *The Terminal List* returns with a bang for its second season Creators: Jack Carr, David DiGilio Stars: Chris Pratt, Constance Wu, Jared S...

A Look at Shadow and Bone Season 2
After the successful debut season of Shadow and Bone, fans of Leigh Bardugo's Grishaverse were eagerly awaiting the second installment of the series. And finally, your wait has come to an end with the arrival of the second season of Shadow and Bone on Netflix. Season 2 brings back the characters we fell in love with, along with new faces and new dangers.
Creator: Eric Heisserer Stars: Jessie Mei Li, Ben Barnes, Archie Renaux
The season picks up right where we left off, with Alina and Mal escaping the Fold, and the Darkling, aka the Kirigan General, is nowhere to be found. The main plot of the season revolves around the search for a powerful amplifier that can help Alina in her fight against the Darkling. However, as the search progresses, it becomes clear that finding the amplifier will not be easy and may come at a cost that Alina and her friends are unwilling to pay.
One of the significant changes in Season 2 is the introduction of new characters, including the Wandering Isle crew, who play a pivotal role in the quest for the Amplifier. The dynamic between the team and Alina's group is exciting to watch, with the Wandering Isle crew bringing a fresh perspective to the show. Additionally, the season also introduces new villains, such as Drüskelle, who are determined to hunt down and kill Grisha.
The cast's performances continue to impress in Season 2. Jessie Mei Li brings depth and vulnerability to her role as Alina, while Archie Renaux's portrayal of Mal adds a new layer to her character. Ben Barnes as Darkling remains as charismatic and compelling as ever, and the new cast members, including Callahan Skogman as Matthias and Danielle Galligan as Nina, fit right into the ensemble.
Season 2 also explores the Darkling's backstory, giving viewers a better understanding of his motivations and the reasons behind his actions. This deeper dive into the character's psyche makes him more than just a stereotypical villain and adds complexity to his character.
The show's production values continue to impress, with stunning imagery and breathtaking scenery bringing the Grishaverse to life. The action sequences are well choreographed and visually stunning, making for exciting viewing.
However, there are some downsides to Season 2. The pace of the show can be slow at times, and certain subplots could have been played out better. Also, some viewers may find the changes made to the book's story disappointing.
In conclusion, Shadow and Bone season 2 delivers on the promise of the first season, taking viewers on a thrilling and emotional journey through the Grishaverse. The show continues to explore the themes of power, love, and sacrifice, and the performances by the cast are exceptional. While there are some pacing and plot flaws, overall the show is a worthy addition to the Grishaverse, and fans of the first season won't be disappointed.
The *gayest* anime ever created has saddled up once again, returning with such overflowing authority—atop its steed, clad in haute couture, flashing a gold-toothed grin, and serving up the most gorgeous visuals ever committed to screen—that even the notion of a "return to form" feels astonishingly inadequate. Four years after its predecessor, *Stone Ocean*, closed the long and cyclical book on the original Joestar lineage on Netflix, Part 7 of the acclaimed *JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure*—titled *Steel Ball Run*—bursts forth as a new gospel for its legions of fervent emissaries; a soft reboot of the franchise that carries the DNA of its legendary legacy in its very bones, along with the confidence born of nearly twenty years spent being hailed as one of the greatest manga ever written. The initial hysteria surrounding its premiere—including the immediate convulsions across the internet when, just hours after its release, it dethroned *Frieren* from its comfortable, cushy perch on...
