Ted Lasso, and his kind vision of the world, has conquered the hearts of all who have seen the series, whether they like football or not. Sweeping the award chart (rightfully so), it's clear that the cast behind the show is as united as its fictional football team.


In September 2022, Ted Lasso again won the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series for the second year in a row, making him the eighth in 74 years to win the first two seasons. The show took home four total wins, including Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series (Jason Sudeikis), Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series (Brett Goldstein) and Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series. Now fans are patiently waiting for the all-American soccer coach and the boys from AFC Richmond to return for more hijinks on our screens this spring.


But this time they have a new enemy in their midst in the form of an old friend, with manager Nate defecting to West Ham out of spite.


Ted Lasso's team gave fans the ultimate Valentine's Day gift on February 14, 2023 by confirming the show's release date in a trailer.


The minute-long clip, in which AFC Richmond favorites created their own version of the "Believe" sign after Nate tore down Ted's at the season two finale, was as simple and moving as the show itself. .


The release date isn't that far off either, with new episodes coming on March 15, 2023.
