In episode 4 of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Baelor advised Dunk to demand a trial by combat with Aerion, because if he opted for a straight trial, he would be killed not only for striking a prince but also for allegedly kidnapping Egg. Dunk accepted Baelor's proposal because he knew he could take on Aerion in a one-on-one fight, but when he demanded a trial by combat, it backfired, because Aerion demanded a trial of seven.  This meant that Dunk would have to gather six other knights and fight Aerion and his six knights. Steffon was the first person to claim he would side with Dunk. Daeron said he would fall without much resistance during the trial to make up for the fact that he had lied about Dunk kidnapping Egg. And on the day of the fight, Egg convinced Lyonel, Robyn, Hardyng, and Beesbury to fight alongside Dunk. Brooklyn plumbers Mario (Chris Pratt; The Jurassic World and The LEGO Movie franchise) and his brother Luigi (Charlie Day; It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) work underground to fix a water pipe when they are transported through a pipe mysterious and enter a magical new world. But when the brothers are separated, Mario embarks on an epic adventure to find Luigi.


Mario finds his strength with the help of Mushroom Kingdom resident Toad (Keegan-Michael Key; The Lion King) and some training from the Mushroom Kingdom's tenacious ruler, Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy; The Queen's Gambit). 


The Super Mario Brothers Movie features an outstanding comedy cast. These include Jack Black (Jumanji movies) as Bowser, Seth Rogen (Bad Neighbors series) as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen (Portlandia, Saturday Night Live) as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson (American Dad!, Family Guy) as Kamek , and Sebastián Maniscalco (Green Book) is in the role of Spike. It also features Charles Martinet as the special voice actor who has been playing the characters Mario and Luigi from the Super Mario games for over 30 years.

 Netflix has released a trailer for the new sci-fi anime, Moonrise, which shows the main character Jack in action against creatures that serve as antagonists in the Earth vs. Moon conflict.
