2026 is a monumental year for *Zillennials* everywhere—well, at least if you’re a Disney fan. If you haven’t realized it yet, it’s not just the anniversary of *Hannah Montana*, but also the anniversary of *High School Musical*! And all in the same year? Twenty years later, the nostalgia hits you like a brick the instant Miley Cyrus steps onto the scene with her blonde bangs and that shiny gold belt. Although Miley herself looks mature and elegant now, her Tennessee personality shines through instantly the moment she sets foot on the set—the very home of the Stewarts! But, almost immediately, you feel that something is missing.  That’s because most of the show’s main cast doesn’t appear in this anniversary special. Barracuda Queens 2023 Tv Series Review Trailer Cast Crew

Amanda Adolfsson directed Barracuda Queens, a Netflix series inspired by the story of four girls from a wealthy neighborhood in Stockholm who, due to life circumstances, exceed their income and have to resort to more imaginative (and criminal) ways to pay off their debts .


The Plot Barracuda Queens follows the misadventures of four teenagers living in a wealthy neighborhood in Stockholm. The girls turn to a life of crime to pay off their debts, robbing luxury apartments at night. However, they soon realize that their plans are complicated by a mysterious stranger who takes an interest in them and threatens to reveal their secret. The narrative structure of the series is well-crafted, with each episode building on the previous one, leading to an exciting ending.

This five-episode Swedish comedy thriller with a disco beat plunges us into the world of the Swedish bourgeoisie and, almost in TV movie format, offers a social portrait that is more frivolous and comic than realistic. However, at times it manages to be funny, mainly due to the four likeable protagonists and the recognizable disco melodies that make this frivolity a guilty pleasure.


Barracuda Queens is somewhat anecdotal and almost like a European teen comedy that, without leaving a lasting impression, will provide some entertainment. It bears a resemblance to Desperate Housewives in terms of script structure and cinematic treatment, though it lacks the same level of humor in dialogue and situations. However, it's still a good and engaging mix of suspense and comedy.


Barracuda Queens has received mixed reviews since its release on Netflix. While some critics have praised the series for its entertaining plot and unique characters, others argue that the show lacks depth and struggles to balance humor with emotion. Regardless, the series has been praised for its fun and light-hearted exploration of teenage misadventures.

Moonrise 2024 Tv Series Review Trailer Cast Crew

 Netflix has released a trailer for the new sci-fi anime, Moonrise, which shows the main character Jack in action against creatures that serve as antagonists in the Earth vs. Moon conflict. Although no firm release date has been provided for the anime series yet, Moonrise will stream on Netflix sometime in 2024. Announced on Netflix Tudum 2022, Moonrise is written by novelist Tou Ubukata, best known for his excellent work on Ghost in the Shell, Psycho-Pass 2, and Psycho-Pass 3. Beloved artist Hiromu Akawara, who previously worked on the hit series from the Fullmetal Alchemist manga, will also join the show as a character designer. Ubukata wrote and published a prologue novel in December 2018. Netflix describes Moonrise as "a fateful tale of resistance forces on the moon challenging the peaceful inhabitants of Earth to battle." Vinland Saga is set to debut on Netflix and Crunchy Roll early in the new year. In order to get fans excited for the return of their favorite Viking epic anime, an official trailer featuring the ending song has been posted on their website. The trailer is set to LMYK's song “Without Love” and features a brief description that simply reads, “Against Fate: Crawl Cause and Effect. This is no doubt referring to Thorfinn's situation from season 1, as his actions in leaving home and what he did the entire time he was gone will surely have consequences. Vinland Saga Season 2 will stream every Monday at 12:30 p.m. JPT, starting January 9, 2023, with a simulcast on Crunchyroll and Netflix a bit later in the day for the US run.
