This review contains plot details from the first three episodes of “All’s Fair,” which are now available on Hulu. Creators: Jon Robin Baitz, Joe Baken, Ryan Murphy Stars: Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash The fact that a legal drama supposedly about female empowerment begins with a pilot episode written and directed by men probably tells you everything you need to know about “All’s Fair.” In fact, of the three episodes currently available on Hulu to commemorate the series premiere, only one features a significant creative credit from a woman, and it’s shared between executive producer Jamie Pachino and co-creator Ryan Murphy, who collaborated on the script for Episode 2.  But this is a review, so I’m obligated to elaborate: “All’s Fair” is a clumsy, condescending take on superficial, triumphalist feminism, undercooked even by the standards of the overworked Murphy, who co-created the series with Joe Baken and Jon Robin Baitz. Dying in Plain Sight 2024 Tv Movie Review Trailer

 Based on true events, “Dying in Plain Sight” tells the moving story of Morgan Cruz, a high school student who struggles with her weight, and her mother Kim, both of whom harbor dark secrets that culminate in devastating consequences, according to Lifetime's description.


As Kim distances herself from her unfaithful spouse, her intense focus on “healthy eating” blinds her to Morgan's total cessation of food intake. Although Morgan receives positive attention for her changing physique, she privately deals with the serious repercussions of her disorder.

Although it will initially premiere on the Lifetim channel, people without basic cable can watch the debut of “Dying in Plain Sight” on Saturday on Philo.
