In episode 4 of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Baelor advised Dunk to demand a trial by combat with Aerion, because if he opted for a straight trial, he would be killed not only for striking a prince but also for allegedly kidnapping Egg. Dunk accepted Baelor's proposal because he knew he could take on Aerion in a one-on-one fight, but when he demanded a trial by combat, it backfired, because Aerion demanded a trial of seven.  This meant that Dunk would have to gather six other knights and fight Aerion and his six knights. Steffon was the first person to claim he would side with Dunk. Daeron said he would fall without much resistance during the trial to make up for the fact that he had lied about Dunk kidnapping Egg. And on the day of the fight, Egg convinced Lyonel, Robyn, Hardyng, and Beesbury to fight alongside Dunk.  In the sequel to the 2019 film “Code 8,” a girl embarks on a quest for justice after her brother falls victim to corrupt police officers. Seeking help from her ex-partner, an ex-convict, the narrative unfolds against a backdrop of moral ambiguity and shifting alliances.

In “Code 8: Part II,” Connor (played by Robbie Amell) strives to leave his criminal past behind and works as a janitor at a community center. However, his resolve is tested when he becomes involved in the plight of 14-year-old Pav (played by Sirena Gulamgaus), who is pursued by corrupt officers led by Sergeant King (Alex Mallari Jr.). . As Connor reluctantly returns to a world of crime, he must navigate murky waters and decide whether to trust his former partner Garrett (Stephen Amell), who may hold the key to his survival.

The “Code 8” franchise originated with a 2016 short film directed by Jeff Chan, starring brothers Amell and Sung Kang. Following a successful fundraising campaign that raised $3.4 million, the short film was adapted into a feature-length production, hitting theaters in 2019 and then streaming on Netflix in 2020. Despite initial plans for a Spinoff series on the now-defunct Quibi platform, the franchise continues to resonate with audiences and critics, cementing its place as a compelling entry in the sci-fi genre.

 Netflix has released a trailer for the new sci-fi anime, Moonrise, which shows the main character Jack in action against creatures that serve as antagonists in the Earth vs. Moon conflict.
