Dakota Johnson is eagerly awaiting the release of her upcoming superhero action thriller, “Madame Web.”

In “Madame Web,” Johnson plays Cassandra Webb, a Manhattan paramedic who discovers that she has the ability to foresee the future. As she struggles with this new power, she embarks on a journey to alter destiny, while confronting her own mysterious past. Along with three young women with intertwined destinies, she must navigate a dangerous present to ensure a better future.

Director: S.J. Clarkson
Writers: Matt Sazama, Burk Sharpless, Claire Parker
Stars: Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Isabela Merced

Reflecting on her character, Johnson commented, “In this film, we delve into Madame Web's origin story. We witness Cassie's transformation into Madame Web, from her youth. Unlike the interpretation of her in the comics, where she eventually becomes an old woman affected by a neurodegenerative disease, here she is a paramedic, an everyday heroine, an independent and multifaceted woman.

Directed by SJ Clarkson, “Madame Web” features an all-star cast including Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced, Tahar Rahim, Mike Epps, Emma Roberts and Adam Scott. The film is scheduled for release on February 16.

Meanwhile, Johnson, known for her role on “The Office,” recently shared humorous anecdotes about her experience filming the series finale. Recalling her time on set during a “Late Night with Seth Meyers” segment, she jokingly described it as “the worst moment” of her life. Despite her love for the show, Johnson unexpectedly found herself immersed in production on the finale for two weeks, despite having a minimal presence in the episode.

During the interview, Johnson candidly shared her observations about the dynamics of the setting and the mixed emotions surrounding the conclusion of the beloved series. Her anecdotes shed light on the behind-the-scenes atmosphere during filming of the finale of “The Office,” which aired on NBC in May 2013.
