In episode 4 of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Baelor advised Dunk to demand a trial by combat with Aerion, because if he opted for a straight trial, he would be killed not only for striking a prince but also for allegedly kidnapping Egg. Dunk accepted Baelor's proposal because he knew he could take on Aerion in a one-on-one fight, but when he demanded a trial by combat, it backfired, because Aerion demanded a trial of seven.  This meant that Dunk would have to gather six other knights and fight Aerion and his six knights. Steffon was the first person to claim he would side with Dunk. Daeron said he would fall without much resistance during the trial to make up for the fact that he had lied about Dunk kidnapping Egg. The Mire 2024 Tv Series Season 3 Review Trailer

 Netflix has set the premiere date for The Mire Millennium, the third and final season of Poland's “The Mire” crime thriller trilogy.

Set in late 1984, the first season of the series, The Mire, sees the murders of a local communist activist and a prostitute in Gronty Forest. Covering the story for the regional newspaper, and launching their own unofficial investigation, are veteran journalist Witold Wanycz (Andrzej Seweryn, The King of Warsaw, Queen) and his new assistant, junior reporter Piotr Zarzycki (Dawid Ogrodnik, Johnny, Broad Peak). who recently moved here from Krakow with his pregnant wife, Teresa (Zofia Wichłacz, 1983, The World on Fire).

The second season, also known as The Mire '97, is set in 1997, when the Flood of the Century unearths human remains buried in Gronty Forest, as well as the body of a recently deceased teenager. Investigating his death are Sergeant Anna Jass (Magdalena Różczka, 25 Years of Innocence), temporarily sent by the Warsaw police, and local police officer Senior Sergeant Adam Mika (Łukasz Simlat, Furioza). At the same time, Piotr Zarzycki (Dawid Ogrodnik) returns to the city to be the editor-in-chief of the newspaper, while Witold Wanycz (Andrzej Seweryn) reflects on the events in which he participated in Gronty more than 50 years ago.


And in season 3, The Mire Millennium, it's the cusp of the new millennium. As the action unfolds, old cases take on a broader context and take on new meaning, and the past catches up with the show's main characters, who will face new crimes, criminal stories and unusual clues. In the end, they will discover where all the darkness hidden in Gronty Forest was born and where it is heading...


Returning cast members include Andrzej Seweryn, Dawid Ogrodnik, Magdalena Różczka, Łukasz Simlat, Piotr Fronczewski, Janusz Gajos, Agnieszka Żulewska, Michał Pawlik, Ewelina Starejki, Marcin Bosak, Vanessa Aleksander, Wanda Marzec, Mikołaj Chroboczek and Marianna Gierszewska.


Joining the cast are Filip Pławiak (The Defense), Tomasz Schuchardt (High Water), Konrad Eleryk (Infamy), Tomasz Sapryk (High Water), Wojciech Kalarus (1983), Maria Kania (The Convict), Michalina Łabacz (The Teacher) and Antoni Sałaj (The Forest).


The Mire Millennium, a Netflix series, premieres worldwide on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, exclusively on Netflix.
