Saipan 2026 Movie Review Trailer

Saipan 2026. A film loosely based on the conflict between the Republic of Ireland coach, Mike McCarthy (Steve Coogan), and his star player, Roy Keane (Eanna Hardwicke), and Keane's subsequent departure from the Irish squad for the World Cup. To begin with, Hardwicke doesn't resemble Keane at all—she's much taller—but she does capture his arrogance. Coogan isn't an exact copy either, but she does capture his seemingly chaotic approach to player management. Directors: Lisa Barros D'Sa, Glenn Leyburn Writer:: Paul Fraser Stars: Éanna Hardwicke, Steve Coogan, Peter McDonald What I felt while watching the film was the disastrous state of Irish planning. That was the problem: Keane, of Manchester United fame, expected more. I watched The Damned United last week, which deals with the rivalry between Brian Clough and Don Revie. It's tense, funny, and genuinely interesting, but this isn't. It's okay, and it plays on Irish stereotypes. The best part for me was hea...

DogMan 2024 Movie Review Trailer

Caleb Landry Jones probably didn't intend to do anything else in life but act. He passes for nothing more than a brilliant actor who can play any role that comes his way. Once I saw his name as the lead actor in this movie, it wasn't even a question. Luc Besson made me suspicious, but he was already engaged to the lead actor, so that was a deciding factor.

It's a story about an outsider who suffered massive childhood trauma that turned him into something else. At night he goes out and dresses up in a costume, which makes him go unnoticed and he also acts like a local Robin Hood. His name is: “Dog Man”. He cannot fly, shoot webs or even stand or walk. And no, he's not a superhero, far from it, but it almost made you think.

Director: Luc Besson
Writer: Luc Besson
Stars: Caleb Landry Jones, Jojo T. Gibbs, Christopher Denham

Father-related trauma from childhood made him trust canines, so he treats them like his babies and they give them a hundred times the love he even considers giving. As for the story, this film tells a flashback story, from the point of view of the main character as narrator and definer of the narrative.

The story is sad for the most part and then takes some nasty turns that are sometimes unreliable, but not in the way that makes you want to leave this movie, because it did a solid job of getting you invested in it. Caleb Landry Jones is doing what he does best and that is being incredible as an actor and he made me think of several Joker characters over the years. He definitely could be one of them in the future.

It could have been better, much better, but Besson doesn't want it to go any deeper, he wants to take a crippled drug dealer and force her to fire a shotgun. No, it is not a film by Robert Rodrigues, but it is defiantly by Besson, who does not want to neglect his adventure character or his cinematographic protagonists.

It is a good film, which sometimes makes the audience get lost in it, because it covers several areas, plots and also several genres, but it is a solid film, which does not let you escape. or exit hatch: all you want to do is continue this twisted story and cross the finish line, smiling and thanking Caleb for the ride.
