Saipan 2026. The Swedish-language series, adapted from Lindgren's best-selling book by acclaimed writer Hans Rosenfeldt, creator of “The Bridge” and “Marcella,” and directed by Lisa James Larsson (“Victoria”), promises an unforgettable journey. “Ronja the Robber’s Daughter” tells the adventures of a young woman born into a gang of thieves in a medieval Scandinavian fortress.
As Ronja matures, she discovers that the surrounding forest harbors magic and danger. When Ronja befriends Birk, a boy from a rival gang, a fierce family feud breaks out, forcing them to flee into the woods and fend for themselves.

Netflix has released a trailer for the new sci-fi anime, Moonrise, which shows the main character Jack in action against creatures that serve as antagonists in the Earth vs. Moon conflict. Although no firm release date has been provided for the anime series yet, Moonrise will stream on Netflix sometime in 2024. Announced on Netflix Tudum 2022, Moonrise is written by novelist Tou Ubukata, best known for his excellent work on Ghost in the Shell, Psycho-Pass 2, and Psycho-Pass 3. Beloved artist Hiromu Akawara, who previously worked on the hit series from the Fullmetal Alchemist manga, will also join the show as a character designer.
