This review contains plot details from the first three episodes of “All’s Fair,” which are now available on Hulu. Creators: Jon Robin Baitz, Joe Baken, Ryan Murphy Stars: Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash The fact that a legal drama supposedly about female empowerment begins with a pilot episode written and directed by men probably tells you everything you need to know about “All’s Fair.” In fact, of the three episodes currently available on Hulu to commemorate the series premiere, only one features a significant creative credit from a woman, and it’s shared between executive producer Jamie Pachino and co-creator Ryan Murphy, who collaborated on the script for Episode 2.  But this is a review, so I’m obligated to elaborate: “All’s Fair” is a clumsy, condescending take on superficial, triumphalist feminism, undercooked even by the standards of the overworked Murphy, who co-created the series with Joe Baken and Jon Robin Baitz. The Hopeful 2024 Movie Review Trailer

 “THE HOPEFUL” is the story of a community whose lives were transformed by learning what it means to truly wait for Jesus. 


“This dramatic drama, set in 19th century New England, invites audiences of all ages to imagine how hope can change the world.” This movie educated my team because we didn't know how the Seventh-day Adventist Church got started.

All he knew was that the congregation went to church on Saturdays. My aunt became a Seventh-day Adventist before she was with the Lord, but I didn't know much about the path she had chosen.

 Netflix has released a trailer for the new sci-fi anime, Moonrise, which shows the main character Jack in action against creatures that serve as antagonists in the Earth vs. Moon conflict. Although no firm release date has been provided for the anime series yet, Moonrise will stream on Netflix sometime in 2024. Announced on Netflix Tudum 2022, Moonrise is written by novelist Tou Ubukata, best known for his excellent work on Ghost in the Shell, Psycho-Pass 2, and Psycho-Pass 3.  Netflix went all out to unveil its highly anticipated miniseries “The Leopard,” based on Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa’s classic novel set in Sicily, marking the platform’s biggest splash in Italy yet.
