Saipan 2026 Movie Review Trailer

Saipan 2026. A film loosely based on the conflict between the Republic of Ireland coach, Mike McCarthy (Steve Coogan), and his star player, Roy Keane (Eanna Hardwicke), and Keane's subsequent departure from the Irish squad for the World Cup. To begin with, Hardwicke doesn't resemble Keane at all—she's much taller—but she does capture his arrogance. Coogan isn't an exact copy either, but she does capture his seemingly chaotic approach to player management. Directors: Lisa Barros D'Sa, Glenn Leyburn Writer:: Paul Fraser Stars: Éanna Hardwicke, Steve Coogan, Peter McDonald What I felt while watching the film was the disastrous state of Irish planning. That was the problem: Keane, of Manchester United fame, expected more. I watched The Damned United last week, which deals with the rivalry between Brian Clough and Don Revie. It's tense, funny, and genuinely interesting, but this isn't. It's okay, and it plays on Irish stereotypes. The best part for me was hea...

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare 2024 Movie Review Trailer

Lionsgate has released the first trailer for Guy Ritchie's new World War II film, "The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare," starring Henry Cavill ("The Witcher"), Alan Ritchson ("Reacher"), Eiza González (" Ambulance"), Henry Golding ("Snake Eyes"), Alex Pettyfer, Cary Elwes and more. The film will be released in theaters on April 19.

Billed as a “shocking true story,” the action-spy comedy is inspired by true events about UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill and James Bond author Ian Fleming’s secret World War II combat organization.

Director: Guy Ritchie
Writers: Paul Tamasy, Eric Johnson, Arash Amel
Stars: Henry Cavill, Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer

The synopsis reads: "This clandestine squad's unconventional and totally 'ungentlemanly' fighting techniques against the Nazis significantly changed the course of the war and gave rise to the modern Black Ops unit."

The trailer shows the formation of the team, with Cavill's character forming a covert group of Nazi assassins. "You won't like them," he tells Elwes' character. "They're all... bad." In a gory montage, undercover agents go on a Nazi killing spree, while Cavill's character gleefully sticks out his tongue while unloading rounds of bullets.

Based on the book of the same name by war correspondent and military historian Damien Lewis, the film's screenplay is written by Paul Tamasy, Eric Johnson, Arash Amel and Ritchiet. The project was started by Tamasy and Johnson and sold as a pitch to Bruckheimer and Paramount in 2015.

Bruckheimer produces with Chad Oman, Ivan Atkinson (Ritchie's producing partner) and John Friedberg for Black Bear. Scott Lastaiti, Olga Filipuk, Damien Lewis and Tamasy and Johnson are executive producers.
