Saipan 2026 Movie Review Trailer

Saipan 2026. A film loosely based on the conflict between the Republic of Ireland coach, Mike McCarthy (Steve Coogan), and his star player, Roy Keane (Eanna Hardwicke), and Keane's subsequent departure from the Irish squad for the World Cup. To begin with, Hardwicke doesn't resemble Keane at all—she's much taller—but she does capture his arrogance. Coogan isn't an exact copy either, but she does capture his seemingly chaotic approach to player management. Directors: Lisa Barros D'Sa, Glenn Leyburn Writer:: Paul Fraser Stars: Éanna Hardwicke, Steve Coogan, Peter McDonald What I felt while watching the film was the disastrous state of Irish planning. That was the problem: Keane, of Manchester United fame, expected more. I watched The Damned United last week, which deals with the rivalry between Brian Clough and Don Revie. It's tense, funny, and genuinely interesting, but this isn't. It's okay, and it plays on Irish stereotypes. The best part for me was hea...

Hans Zimmer & Friends: Diamond in the Desert 2025 Movie Review Trailer

“Hans Zimmer & Friends: Diamond in the Desert,” a concert film shot in Dubai that also includes documentary interviews with some of the stars and filmmakers the composer has worked with, will hit theaters around the world starting March 19, Trafalgar Releasing announced Wednesday.

The bulk of the 158-minute film will be footage of Zimmer and his band and orchestra playing selections from films including “Dune,” “The Lion King,” “Gladiator” and “Interstellar,” at venues including Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena and the Al Wasl Plaza dome at Expo City Dubai.

Director: Paul Dugdale
Stars: Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Christopher Nolan

Not everyone in the film traveled to Dubai, as the movie also includes interview footage with the likes of Billie Eilish, Finneas and Johnny Marr (who worked with Zimmer on “No Time to Die”), Christopher Nolan, Jerry Bruckheimer, Pharrell Williams, Tanya Lapointe and “Dune” stars Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya and Denis Villeneuve.

Paul Dugdale directed the film and is among the executive producers. He has directed 14 theatrically released musical films to date. His more than 100 projects for theatrical, streaming or television include “Coldplay Music of the Spheres,” “Elton John Live: Farewell From Dodger Stadium,” “Adele: One Night Only,” “Raye at the Royal Albert Hall,” “The 100th: Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden,” “An Evening With Dua Lipa” and “Taylor Swift: Reputation Stadium Tour.”

Simon Fisher, Steven Kofsky, Michael Marto, Omar Saab and John Featherstone produced. Trafalgar will release the film in all markets except the Middle East, where it will be distributed by Vox.

“The Hans Zimmer Live tour has been one of the most exciting experiences of my career,” Zimmer said in a statement, “and I’m thrilled to bring it to a cinema audience around the world with Diamond in the Desert. Watching these compositions transform from their origins on the big screen to the live show and then back to the big screen again is a wonderful, full-circle moment. I hope audiences enjoy this behind-the-scenes look as much as we enjoyed making it.”

Other Trafalgar film releases include concert films by Taylor Swift (international distribution of the “Eras Tour” film), Beyoncé, BTS, Metallica, Oasis, Coldplay and Billie Eilish.
