Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special 2026 Tv Series Review Trailer

2026 is a monumental year for *Zillennials* everywhere—well, at least if you’re a Disney fan. If you haven’t realized it yet, it’s not just the anniversary of *Hannah Montana*, but also the anniversary of *High School Musical*! And all in the same year? Twenty years later, the nostalgia hits you like a brick the instant Miley Cyrus steps onto the scene with her blonde bangs and that shiny gold belt. Although Miley herself looks mature and elegant now, her Tennessee personality shines through instantly the moment she sets foot on the set—the very home of the Stewarts! But, almost immediately, you feel that something is missing.  That’s because most of the show’s main cast doesn’t appear in this anniversary special. Even so, I can’t complain, considering that Miley is the sole reason we had the opportunity to enjoy this special at all. Twenty years ago, when I was just a little girl myself, I had a poster of the pop star with the double life hanging on my pink and purple walls (quite...

Thirteen Lives 2022 Movie Review Trailer Cast Crew

Prime Video has released the first trailer for the ripped-from-the-headlines drama "Thirteen Lives," Ron Howard's upcoming 2018 Tham Luang cave rescue film.

In June and July 2018, members of a youth soccer team were trapped for 18 days in Thailand's Tham Luang Nang Non cave, after heavy rains flooded the cave system and blocked their exit. As the team, whose ages ranged from 11 to 16, and their coach remained trapped for weeks, the situation attracted worldwide interest and an international rescue team was assembled to locate them. Howard's film will chronicle the events of the rescue, focusing on the divers' efforts to save the trapped team members.

Director: Ron Howard
Writers: William Nicholson, Don MacPherson
Stars: Joel Edgerton, Colin Farrell, Viggo Mortensen

Viggo Mortensen and Colin Farrell lead the cast as Rick Stanton and John Volanthen, the British cave divers who offered their expertise to help find the group alongside Australian diver and anesthetist Harry Harris (Joel Edgerton) and Chris Jewell (Tom Bateman). Sahajak 'Poo' Boonthanakit plays Governor Narongsak, who led the rescue operation, with Teeradon 'James' Supapunpinyo playing Ekkaphon Chanthawong, the team's assistant coach. Rounding out the cast are Paul Gleeson, Pattrakorn Tungsupakul, Tui Thiraphat Sajakul, James Teeradon Supapunpinyo, and Weir Sukollawat Kanaros.

The trailer promises that audiences will "witness the greatest rescue the world has ever seen," as footage shows the children entering the cave system on a whim, only to be engulfed by the powerful floodwaters. "It looks easy, but when it's flooded, it's impossible," Volanthen de Farrell warns of the cave, while Stanton de Mortensen is later shown explaining that the dive path is "barely shoulder width, pushing against very strong currents." powerful".

The clip follows the daring and dangerous rescue attempt as Stanton, Volanthen, Harris and Jewell worked with Thai officials, including Commander Kiet (Thira 'Aum' Chutikul) and Dr. Karn (Popetorn 'Two' Soonthornyanaku), pictured from above, in an effort to save all thirteen people, despite the odds.

In one scene, Farrell and Mortensen are shown emerging from the water to find the team trapped: “How many of you? Thirteen?” Farrell asks, as Mortensen gasps in relief, “They're all alive” — but locating the team is just the beginning. The real challenge is finding a way to get them out.

Stories of the triumph of the human spirit are always moving. The peasants who allow their fields to be destroyed by diverting the water jets "for the boys" or the aid that pours in from the four corners of the globe reaffirms faith in humanity. Then there are the children themselves, who with the help of their trainer, a former monk, who teaches them how to meditate, hold out for the 18 days it took for their rescue.

In addition to Stanton and Volanthen, the rescue team includes Richard Harris (Joel Edgerton), an anesthesiologist and caver whose special abilities are called upon, Chris Jewell (Tom Bateman), and Jason Mallinson (Paul Gleeson).

The actors who brought this incredible story to life are at the top of their game, and despite knowing the end result, Howard has created a gripping story. Filmed in Queensland and Thailand, Thirteen Lives recreates the terror and emotion, the mud, the chaos and the fury of the elements, as well as the strength of humanity against Nature.

With maps overlaid and a countdown clock and calendar, the pouring rain, the chanting of prayers, the steaming food, and the darkness the kids find themselves in, Howard has created a white-knuckle certifiable ride.
