The Immaculate Room Movie Review Trailer Cast Crew

The Immaculate Room follows a seemingly perfect couple who take part in a psychological experiment that will reward them $5 million if they can stay in a perfectly white room for 50 days. But the room is much more than meets the eye, and a hidden past and private demons will reveal shameful truths they may not survive.

The Immaculate Room, the latest film from Mukunda writer-director Michael Dewil (Vehicle 19), which sees Kate Bosworth and Emile Hirsch as a seemingly perfect couple embarking on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live in the title: having the opportunity to secure a multi-million dollar fortune. Of course, nothing is as simple as it seems, especially in the movies, and the suspenseful new trailer for the upcoming thriller makes it clear that this mind-boggling private experiment is bound to have its fair share of trouble on the inside.

As seen in the promotion for this Screen Media Films/Chicken Soul release for Soul Entertainment, Mike (Hirsch) and Kate (Bosworth) mutually agree to put the outside world on hold as they attempt to survive within the flawless cavernous walls of this futuristic cell. . There is furniture, albeit sparse, top-of-the-line amenities, and access to food and drink, albeit supplied in odd boxed jars. It sure seems like an easy way to make a lot of life-changing cash. Hell, people would pay to live in such seclusion. There are AirBnbs out there with fewer accommodations. What could be a bother here?

Well, naturally, it wouldn't be a thriller if everything went according to plan. Suddenly, there is a gun mysteriously found in the bathroom. And a beautiful and elusive woman (Ashley Greene) who ends up joining them on the expedition. Feelings of mistrust, confusion, and terror pervade each and every interaction. So, of course, the paranoia is bound to seep into the fold from then on. But is there something truly sinister about this self-proclaimed immaculate room? Or are all people's delusions divorced from reality? These are all questions that remain unanswered. At least until August 19.
Certainly this sci-fi premise, strange as it may seem at first glance, is ultimately intriguing, daunting, and perhaps even timely, particularly as more people have grown accustomed to what it's like to hole up in isolation for days on end. during an ongoing pandemic.

There have been many days when we feel as if we are trapped inside, with no real connection to the outside world. Perhaps that is what inspired the existence of this film? But even if it wasn't, the premise is funny and wacky enough to warrant interest.

In any case, in the interest of time, we don't have to wait long for The Immaculate Room. Whether the film, which reunites Bosworth and Hirsch after 2020's Force of Nature, lives up to its premise will be determined in a few weeks. The Immaculate Room will be seen in theaters and on video-on-demand, where, appropriately enough, you can watch it unfold in the discomfort of your own home, on August 19.
The film premiered on February 3 as the opening night film at the 4th Annual Mammoth Film Festival, subsequently winning its Best Picture award, with Hirsch winning Best Actor. Daniel Baur, Joel David Moore and Doug Murray produced, with Ryan Reaney, William G. Santor, Andrew Chang-Sang and John Hills serving as executive producers, and Max Osswald as co-producers. The production companies involved were Productiviy Media, K5 Film and Balcony9. Radiant Films International presented the title at this year's virtual EFM and is handling international sales.

"The Immaculate Room is a smart and consistently surprising sci-fi thriller," Screen Media said in a statement. "It was a joy to work with such talented filmmakers, cast and crew who brought this nightmare to life."

Screen Media also recently acquired the horror film The Accursed, starring Mena Suvari, from Willy's Wonderland director Kevin Lewis; Gigi Gaston's 9 Bullets, starring Lena Headey and Sam Worthington; and Phillip Noyce's Fast Charlie, starring Pierce Brosnan, and is scheduled to release Gold, starring Zac Efron, in March. Recent releases include Manny Perez's La Soga Salvation, acquired from the Toronto International Film Festival; Casey Tebo's Black Friday starring Devon Sawa and Bruce Campbell; James Nunne's One Shot, starring Scott Adkins and Ryan Phillippe; and the Brent Wilson documentary Brian Wilson: Long Promised Road.
