The first episode begins with the story of Daniel Thompson. When he was 12 years old, he was diagnosed with PDD, that is, a pervasive developmental disorder. He was accused of stalking in 2008 after repeated episodes of the same thing. Different timelines of his life are covered. He himself tells his story, and his associates are also there to tell his side of the story.
When Daniel was 17 years old, he met Angie at a summer camp, but at the time his father did not approve of them due to the two-year age difference. He told her to wait and Thompson did the same. After a year, Thompson contacted Angie again. The two struck up a relationship, and things went well at first. Angie and Daniel married and had five children. In her marriage, when Daniel got angry, he beat her wife, strangled her, and pulled her hair. Things started to rise from here.

Angie got a restraining order and then moved in with her new roommate Brandon. Daniel would come there too, and one day he tried to kill her. Police arrested him on robbery charges when he should have been charged with stalking. When the incidents were repeated, he was imprisoned. Daniel partially realized that what he had done with Angie and the other woman was wrong.
Matthew Huffman, Head of Public Affairs at the Hospital, said a very good phrase: mental health cannot be an excuse for crimes like these. One cannot get away with such heinous things simply by claiming that he suffers from a mental disorder.
As I mentioned in my other articles, I'm not a big fan of watching documentaries or drama series like this, but sometimes it becomes very important to get familiar with what's going on in this world. Everyone should take some time and watch top shows like I Am A Stalker to learn how people are affected when they are denied their personal space and live in constant fear of death.
I Am A Stalker has eight episodes that are 43 to 45 minutes long each. Each episode brings the story of a different stalker and his victims. There are several good things about the series, such as respecting a person's decision if he wants his identity to remain confidential. The culprits are seen to be aware of what they did to various individuals. There is a pattern to all bullies, and sometimes they need mental help to get back to normal. In my opinion, this series becomes important since there is not much talk about the issue of bullying. Please watch this with your family so anyone facing similar things can realize that if you don't act early, things could get worse.
