Like a family animated movie, The Boss Baby: Christmas Bonus portrays the story of Boss Baby unknowingly switching places with some of Santa's elves on Christmas Eve and ending up trapped, giving the festival a surprise ending. The film was produced by Matt Engstrom and Brandon Sawyer and distributed by Netflix.

The Templeton family, except for Boss Baby, is excited about Christmas and all the fun the merry season has to offer. Boss Baby is seemingly nonchalant and can't seem to figure out what all the fuss is about. However, his beloved brother is determined to get him into the Christmas spirit, and to do so, he takes Boss Baby to a shopping mall where he would meet Santa, but everything goes wrong when Boss Baby is mistaken for an elf and instead Consequently, he is magically transported to the North Pole. As the trailer reveals, his favorite baby decides to make lemonade out of her lemons by going into boss mode and taking over the leadership of the toy-making business at the Pole.

The minute-long clip begins with Boss Baby sitting in the backseat of his parents' car, but while he's dressed in Christmas colors, he's obviously irritated by the idea of visiting the mall to meet Santa. . He expresses disgust at the idea of taking photos with Santa throwing away his elf winter cap. Even after the family's arrival at the mall, Boss Baby remains adamantly against Christmas and his older brother sees him being dragged into the mall by the ankle. Tim finally gets his little brother to sit on Santa's lap, but that doesn't seem to change anything. Santa and Boss Baby seemingly go way back as they both immediately recognize each other much to Tim's surprise. His story, it seems, holds an unpleasant memory for Boss Baby, but the bearded Kris Kringle seemed to be over whatever it was when he tickled his little guest to force a smile for photos.

More drama unfolds when Boss Baby is transported to the North Pole after he accidentally stumbles upon a bag of mail at the mall. He immediately wants out and Santa reveals that the only way is for him to "learn a thing or two about the Christmas spirit." Boss Baby reluctantly agrees, but only because he wants to go back to his family. However, when he goes into boss mode and takes the lead in the toy-making business, he catches Christmas fever, happily exclaiming "Let's go to Christmas!" at the end of the trailer.

JP Karliak is back to reprise the title role. Pierce Gagnon voices Boss Baby's brother Tim Templeton, while George Lopez voices him as Santa. Hope Levy is Mom Templeton, David Collins is Dad Templeton and Ray Chase is Dongle. Others on the cast list include Kevin Michael Richardson, Justin Felbinger, Alex Cazares, Ben Lepley, and Jodi Benson. Boss Baby: Back In The Crib executive producer Brandon Sawyer returns to reprise his role with Matt Engstrom serving as supervising producer.

Boss Baby Christmas Bonus will premiere on Netflix on December 6th.
