2026 is a monumental year for *Zillennials* everywhere—well, at least if you’re a Disney fan. If you haven’t realized it yet, it’s not just the anniversary of *Hannah Montana*, but also the anniversary of *High School Musical*! And all in the same year? Twenty years later, the nostalgia hits you like a brick the instant Miley Cyrus steps onto the scene with her blonde bangs and that shiny gold belt. Although Miley herself looks mature and elegant now, her Tennessee personality shines through instantly the moment she sets foot on the set—the very home of the Stewarts! But, almost immediately, you feel that something is missing.  That’s because most of the show’s main cast doesn’t appear in this anniversary special. The Burning Girls 2023 Tv Series Review Trailer

The chilling thriller series, “The Burning Girls,” now available on Paramount Plus, is an adaptation of the renowned novel by CJ Tudor. The show's lead roles are played by Samantha Morton, known for her role in “Fantastic Beasts,” and Ruby Stokes, known for her appearances in “Bridgerton” and “Lockwood & Co.” They depict a mother-daughter duo seeking a new beginning in the insular British town of Chapel Croft. However, this peculiar community harbors its own dark secrets, and unraveling the truth about its bloody history is dangerous.


Samantha Morton, who plays the role of Reverend Jack Brooks, single mother and vicar, shares her thoughts: “I was immediately drawn to this character-driven script, brought to life by a wonderfully talented and dedicated cast. On the surface, 'The Burning Girls' explores the concept of community, but underneath lies more of a survival-of-the-fittest dynamic. “Untangling this intricate web was absolutely exciting.”
