 “The Beautiful Game” takes viewers on an inspiring journey through the world of underdog athletes, anchored in the real-life inspiration of the Homeless World Cup. Despite its usual sports drama tropes, Thea Sharrock's Netflix production offers a moving story of resilience and camaraderie.

Focusing on England's Homeless World Cup team, the film features a cast of characters facing various challenges, from addiction to personal redemption. Led by Bill Nighy as the determined coach and Micheal Ward as the talented but troubled forward Vinny, the team progresses through the tournament with a mix of humor and determination.
